Can't wait to see it, but I am a big QT fan.

Reviews look pretty good on Rotten Tomatoes, only anti QT people hating it.

Same, I'm probably going to see it the day it comes to my local theatre, hopefully it'll be on Imax

Anti-QT people I put in the same catagory as people that don't like Pink Floyd.

They're just not worth talking to, and most of their opinions I probably wouldn't care for.

i saw it two weeks ago at a press screening, the previews lead you to believe it's going to be "The Dirty Dozen" but it's really not. It is however, a fantastic Tarantino movie. 2.5 hours, the last 15 minutes or so are AMAZING tarantino stuff. Overall it's a great flick imo

What an awesome villain, loved the farmhouse scene and also the strudel.

Downer? We had a fire drill right during the the film premiere scene and they didn't let us back in, refunded. Now I have to go again to see the whole thing.

Ironic considering how the movie was supposed to end.

I don't think they could have had a better person to play him.. That actor was amazing.

And the face in the smoke at the end literally gave me chills. :o

My father called me to tell me about the movie, he said it was a little mild for a Q.T. movie but he still liked it.

Whats you guys take on that comment? I'm still gonna go see it, just wondering what he's going on about.

    Good :)

It’s a good movie, I really enjoyed it. But he is correct. It had its QT moments but a little toned down I guess. It seemed a bit smarter than his earlier films thou… And I can’t remember seeing his ugly face in itJ

Basterds is a masterpiece! The best film I have seen this decade! I have not been this entertained in a long time. Bravo to QT and the cast.

    Some spoilers...

Saw this last night. I'm not a Tarantino fan at all. Reservoir Dogs I liked. Everything else, not so much.

This one was pretty good, though. There were a few parts that were slow, but overall the movie didn't feel like it was 2.5 hours long. The basterds were great, I was kind of disappointed they weren't given more time. Pitt's character was awesome, as was Landa.

Being a QT movie I knew that pretty much everyone was going to die. I guess he just can't get away from that. Someone else mentioned it was tame for QT... I'd have to agree. Especially compared to those pieces of shit movies, Kill Bill 1 and 2.

I probably would have enjoyed it more if it hadn't been so fucking hot in the theater. I swear they turned the AC about 10 times the whole movie. Only 5 seconds at a time.

Would those that saw it, recommend it to non-QT fans?

Yes, though it's always non-QT fans that can't understand or follow his ideas.
