Any comments on this speaker, or does anyone have it. I can get it for 135 bucks at work and am wondering whether it will be a good fit for me. Right now I am running an old kappa 12 in a 1.2 cubic foot box with 300 watts going to it. I listen to mostly rock so tight bass is more of what I need. But for such a great price I am thinking about upgrading.

    link to info.

I would also probably upgrade my amp to the new infinity reference 610a which is 456 watts at 4 ohms. Seems like a perfect match for the sub.

Oh, this is going in a S10 extended cab.

unless you are really into the engineering side of car audio (which i will be willing to say right now that you are not) don't waste the extra money getting the VQ over the regular kappa perfect 12
