I was wondering what you all thought of this. Is it good for the money? Are there any better for that price and size. This would be used to complement my stock bose system so I would want something that was just enough to a bit more bump to my stock system.

It'll be great then. It's a real nice unit and makes good clean sound. For the price it's hard to be beat what you get (sub, amp & enclosure)

For 50 bucks more you can put together a small compact system mthat will spank a basslink.

This is pretty accurate.. I have one added to my stock Bose system and have been happy with the results. I believe I paid $235 for mine off of ebay. I also installed the infinity remote control, which is a nice feature as well.

    I'm all ears...like what?

The thing with the basslink is that you don't have to buy/build a box. You're ready to go 'out of the box'. For lots of beginners, building a box can be tough for a few reasons: no tools, no experience...etc.
