I am planning on either getting a Keltec Su16 in the future....or a SA M1A in the far far future, and I was wondering if there were any inexpensive red dot sights available. I'm sorry, but I can't justify spending 400+ on an Aimpoint. I know that the sub $100 red dots like Simmons or BSA are crap, so maybe something in between? Something that is fairly good and won't require me to take out a loan. The only one I've found so far is the Kobra EKP-8-18 which goes for around $200. Are there other brands around that price range that I can look at?

My Aimpoint ML2 was $309 brand new so im sure if you looked around on Ebay or some gun forums you could find a used one in the $200 range. :dunno:

the M2 is probably going to be cheaper than the ML2, since the ML2 is the same thing, but with a night vision compatability.

Could take a look at Eotechs. Can get the 511 and 512 for under $300.

I've looked at Eotechs, and I would prefer the Aimpoint over it since they are in a similar price range. What about Hakko or OKO sights? Are they any good? They can be had for way less then $200

Damn all that, I spent $70 for a Tasco Pro- point that has an adjustible dot size, i think from 5 MOA - 1/4 MOA. It works great.
