Never shot indoor soccer before, but i did last night and it was dreadful. So tough, i wasnt expecting the poor inconsistent lighting, i was goign to set up remote flashes, but their was pexi glass 9ft high couldnt get a ladder to get up there and mount some flashes to help with lighting, so i had to use on cam flash, still hard as hell.

anyway here you go, dont really know what i could have done differently. 50-150 2.8

exposure looks nice, but there's no peak action in any of the shots... so I'd say to work on your timing a bit.

You can kick the ball plenty hard, just no 3 line passes. Kinda like icing in hockey.

wtf kind of indoor rules is that? my wife played 4 seasons of soccer through highschool, 3 of those 4 were all indoor... and her brother did the same all through highschool... and they were balls to the wall soccer... pretty much the same rules as outdoor.... it was so much more fun to watch because it was a much faster pace.

they kinda suck then, it was weird they always held back their shots, plus i was only allowed to stand in one spot :(

in addition i suck at soccer stuff too. but im working on it :)

i knwo i hate it, but there was literally nothing else i could do, either get really blurry shots, or get really really dark shots. I mean even with flash i was at 1600 1/250 2.8

if you think shooting indoor soccer indoors is hard, trying shooting indoor soccer outside.

there really isn't much you can do for this either. the shadows suck but if you truly can't do better, don't worry about it.

and yes, you can kick the ball as hard as you want in indoor soccer but there is a 3 line rule (like said above, like hockey) but you'll find that most indoor players don't need to kick it hard as it is more about control than strength. most of the goals i've scored in indoor have been from light touches rather than strong kicks.

" trying shooting indoor soccer outside."

Are you counting the atmosphere that encompasses the planet as just one bigger room?

indoor style soccer...outdoors. indoor soccer, the term, is just the style of soccer you play...it isn't always indoors.

actually, I just got back from playing indoor soccer...outdoors. ;)

for those of you who still haven't grasped the idea of what i was talking about, this is where I play. as you can see, it is outdoors but indoor style.
