    strobe with soft box, you can see it in the glass

    what about it?

    i was just curious about how they managed to get such soft yet full light. especially against a window like that.

    based on the reflection in the glass, looks like there is a softbox on the right side. Actually, looks like another softbox on the other side, based on the shape in the reflection in her eye.

    not exactly the same, but you get the idea. that probably had light coming from both sides. a soft box is just a smaller version on that diffusion flat that wraps aboud the strobe

    not hating i am sure you can get some great pictures off that. i would just love to see the look on a models face when you start setting up the shop lights :ugh: :ugh:

    that was for a specific assignment that called for it. I use the real stuff on a regular basis, just didn't need it for that.

    All that to shoot a crappy vacuum cleaner? There's around $10-12 grand in Swiss gear in that room. I bet they also installed the hardwood just for the shot.

    one of my prof's shot catalog images like that. base price started at $5k/image. so you casically do whatever you need to to get the perfect shot. they were worth it though
