Increasing the size of your neck... NOT your traps

    Does anyone know how I can increase the actual circumference of my neck (not my traps)?

    What are some good things to do to thicken up the physical size of my neck? Again, I have to clarify that i'm not talking about traps.

    the traps go way into the neck..so you would want to work on them:dunno:

    Damn, my gym doesn't have a 4 way neck machine or neck harness... and i'd kill myself if I attmpted bridged :rofl:.

    You can buy neck harnesses for under $20. My parents got me one for Xmas from a local weight store

    harness or machine, bridge have always scared me

    post up some pics, I wanna see if I can make a homemade one. I do neck extensions and shit at my house with a little 10lb weight, but it's just not enough weight - I fall in the range of 100+

    If you were to put me on a deserted island and allowed me to do one exercise, I would pick the deadlift. Also, since I suck at the deadlift no one would see how bad I was at it. No other lift works more muscles than the deadlift. The irony is that few people do this lift and when they do, it’s “for reps” or for “form work” so they don‘t hurt their back. These terms are code for “pussy”. Yes, I did just say that, but let’s be honest and call a spade a spade. So you must pull and you must pull heavy.

    just outta curiousity, what does this have to do with neck size? :rofl: I understand it increases every muscle in the body... but obviously not enough. My neck lag behinds my arms and calves by over an inch, and me having a long neck, it looks fucking pathetic.

    ok... so you are saying lift heavy deadlifts, where is this getting at? I do heavy deadlifts and still have a small, skinny neck with big traps

    oh.. I never read that shit, so maybe that explains it. I'm just sick of having a small neck and dying for an answer. Compared to most people it sounds big at 18, but due to the length, it's horrible looking
