I increased my paged pool memory in the registry so I can run TF2 as Valve has stated TF2 has a problem with taking up too much paged pool memory causing system crashes on even high end computers.

Is there any risk with doing this?

how much ram (physical) do you have in your pc?

i doubt it will affect your system's performance by increasing the virtual memory size.

2 gigs? that's more than enough for games

2 gigs x 2 = 4096mb = recommended swap file size for your os and gaming'

There is no risk increasing it. But valve better fix this damn problem soon. Is TF2 officially out or is it still in beta stage?
