Because daddy doesn't like searching through page after page of plastic-stocked SKS's in the other picture thread.

Two things led me to buy an AR.

    1) Zombies
    2) Alligator Gar

well, carps are bigger... it would take alot to swing one of those fast enough. a gar... those things flop around alot. we caught one back on the 4th... fucker moves too much. salmon though, that would just be funny.

We ran into some guys fishing in the spillway of a lake one day.....we noticed
they were using metal leaders and had a small rifle handy. We asked them
what they were doing, they said "gar hunting" Dad goes, "you mean fishing
for gar?" "no, you hunt gar"

Shortly after they pulled up a 5' gar and that was the last time I got in the
    water anywhere near the dam.

You'll like hte two stage trigger. Idleprocess' regular trigger is pretty good,
but the two stage is nice.

I decided about a year ago I'd wait to finish it until the magpul ubr stock was released since it was just a month or two away. I'm still waiting.

I'm thinking about going to 6.8spl though.

I was going to do the same... but when the company that researches and promotes a round orphans it, it's not a good sign.

    You're letting the sling pass?

Absent sticking rails in all possible locations, a 2-52x80mm scope, Glock foregrip, grip-pod, and user-selectable red/green/blue laser I'm not sure it's quite "accessorised" yet for an AR.

Not gonna be much to look at (nevermind use) without the grip, sight, and magazines... :p

I let the sling ride since it's a 2 point, AND does not have the stabilizer strap... OTHERWISE :nono:

I win the 'least tactical' award I think, mine doesn't even have a fucking P grip (does have a different brake though)
