They are disabled. Those messages are probably a good thing.

Lower your security level :dunno: I'd rather have high security and live with the messages than have unauthorized macros running around though.

Little scripts that do things automatically. They can be used to automate things that you do lots in Word, but they can also be used maliciously to harm your computer (or so they say).

Hmm - but why is it running a macro in the first place if you're just opening up the program? I mean a document, sure that will happen, but no document?

WD2002: "Expired or Revoked Signature" Message Appears When You Start Word

    http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=http://support.microsoft.com:80/support/kb/articles/Q301/6/38.ASP&NoWebContent=1

Do you have any word "add-ons" installed like acrobat or avery label wizard for example. If you are just opening a new word document and not opening an existing file, it means some kind of addon macro program is trying to run. Since the signature on the macro is expired or revoked it could be a virus, since you are having that weird problem with theme support too. This this start to happen after the same crash? :dunno:

trying scanning with an online virus scanner.
