DOF is too shallow in #1
    #2 is different...
#3 has the pipe blending in too much with the rock
    #4 is an odd angle
    #5 is a nice BW
    #6 is alright
#7 is not a good angle. Looks like a snapshot
#8 is too overexposed. Can you bring it down in PS?

1, 2, 7 were done with magnifying filters, so the blurring isn't a dof thing, it's a crappy lens with 3 magnifying filters on it :)

#3 Yea, but it could have been so cool... How about this one instead? Still too much blending?

    #8, how about this?

well here's my two cents..the pipe has cool texture...I would have shot in closer and probably lower on it....

#8 would have been better shot straight on...with the flowers focused in the lower right corner of the shot.... with your light coming from the right side instead of the washed out look from the front you have.....and if you could somehow move the bars out of the way...its just not a well constructed picture right now
