    I didn't. :o

Got my tax money on friday, decided a new pistol would be the best way. Now I just need to get my ass out to the range and have a little fun.

Once I snag a few of the 5 gallon water bottles from work first, that is. :naughty:

HK's are nice guns... though i particularly don't like them. they just dont feel as though they are worth the money, IMO

Agree. USPs don't fit my hand or point well for me.

pretty much... i'm also not a big fan of the grip texture.

for the money, i'd much rather save a hundred bucks or so and get a pre-owned sig

    ...just my opinion though.

I've got giant meat hooks for hands, and I've never liked the feel of the sigs...just personal preference, but they aren't for me.

this sits in my hand perfectly..headed to the range shortly, give it a proper welcome to the family.

i got small hands so i shoot Sig.

i'm also not a polymer fan... just dont like the balance and the added bulk.

but HK has always made nice pistols, especially with the old P7 series.

I like the positive safety of the H&K.

But right now I am carrying my SIG 229.

The double action pull SUCKS on the usp. But I hope you have fun with it. Welcome to gun ownership. Be responsible.

    it's the thin, plastic trigger.

a machined aluminum trigger fixes the problem instantly.
