IMPORT engines of SIMILAR displacement/cylinders usually out perform DOMESTIC engines

    given that they are not supercharged/turbocharged...

    engines of similar displacement and cylinders...

    imports usually make more power...

    examples...toyota camry - 3.5 260+ hp
    maxima - 3.5 260+ hp

    sebring - 3.5 235 hp
    mustang - 4.0 210hp

    and the mustang is suppose to be a sports car...

    Yeah its because jap cars are more technologically advanced, and they are engineered better. Its ok, Honda and Toyota will take over Ford and GM eventually.

    i am sure if the japs wanted to make a eight cylinder it will out perform the domestic eights no problem...

    just look at the new toyota tacoma pick up as an example...

    yea, only difference though anymore

    american cars you can get your hand in any spot

    jap cars(like mine) take all sorts of weird contortion manuevers to get a bolt off

    the camry...a gas saving family car with 3.5 liters produces 248 pounds of torque...

    the mustang...with its 4.0 liters of displacement produces 240 pounds of torque...

    all kidding aside, I can't get over the fact that the Mustang v6 is 4.0 liters :rofl:

    isn't the v8 GT only 4.6 liters?

    yes it is a eight cylinder that makes 300 hp...hey that is in the same range as the 3.5 liter six clinder acura rl motor...

    oh yeah, and just to let you know, they usually under-rate the hp, thats what they did with the ls1 camaros
