.img Files

    I have a .img file and I want to burn it onto a dvd. What program do I use? I have nero and dvd shrink

    Just rename it to .iso and doubleclick. Nero will open and you'll burning after a click or two.

    Yeah, you can install a whole shitload of software, but for what?

    An .IMG is nothing more that an ordinary .ISO file, but it has been created with CloneCD. Apperently the CD has no copyprotection whatsoever as there would be another seperate file as well.

    The same goes for BIN/CUE and MDF/MDS. The BIN and MDF files are the ordinary ISO files, the CUE and MDS files contain additional information.

    I burn them with nero. Go to "burn image", go to the directory where the image is, click the drop down file-type menu and choose "all files" show it will show the .img files. Open the .img and I've had no trouble burning them. :dunno:
