What are some good ones available now that won't break the bank? I am looking to take lot of no flash pics, and hope the image stabilization will keep the blurriness to a minimum.:)

thx for the quick reply, but I forgot I'd like it to be pretty compact, tired of having a bulky camera around now.

I've had an "image stabilization" system for years. I call it a "tripod". However, if you can't use one due to space or other confines, a monopod works nearly as well.

Canon makes a few compact IS cameras, A710 IS, and SD700 IS are a few I can think of off the top of my head

mine is pretty good, and technically, it pays YOU.

I'm surprised at how well it works on the A710 IS

I'm sure it works just as well on other point and shoots, I just haven't bothered messing with them.
