So, now that Vista is the new hotness, it is time to get a Mac. :o

On the iMac, if I get the standard video card, is it possible to upgrade the video card myself, or pay Apple's prices to upgrade.

Anyone play WoW on their iMac? I'm looking at the 20"... MAYBE a refurb 24" and the only thing I use my computer for these days is browsing the internets, email, aim/yahoo/msn, WoW and updating my iPod.

Anyone bought a refurbished iMac? My iPod was a refurb and seems to work fine enough, so I'm hoping Apple refurb computers are the same. :o

I play wow all the time on my 20"imac. 2gb ram made lagforge somewhat bearable back in the day before linked ah's thinned out the population.

WoW runs perfectly fine on the iMac. You cant upgrade the video card your self. The video card is integrated into the iMacs logic board so you would have to order it from apple.com

i personaly would upgrade your video card. i dont think vista is all that great it takes to much resources to actually run it. but the iMac can run it i forgot the benchmarks that people have done but it is pretty high.

    i hope that helped.

The video card upgrade isn't too expensive, so I could pay Apple for that. :hs:

Now to decide when to bite the bullet and purchase the damn thing. :run:
