iMac not reading blank media

    Im trying to burn a CD, I get the usual prompt and click OK. This is what I get and the cd ejects

    im running osx 10.3.5

    What else could it be

    disk first aid
    repair permissions.

    is it the same CD all the time? or just randomly?
    try from different user profiles? :dunno:

    its ONLY blank media (cd/dvd) I get it everytime. I ignored the disc title option and it seems like it was burning a dvd, but in 4 hours its only burnt 34%.

    I tried on both users and I get the same thing. WTF is wrong with my $2,300 iMac???????????
