imac g3

    will pc memory work work it? same with the harddrive? is there anything else i should do before i install osx?

    Well you didn't mention which iMac you have, on that it's a G3 which might have made things easier.
    However in this case all of the iMacs from 1998-2001 use PC100, but the max amount is here they vary. From 128MB to 1GB.

    As for the HDD, they all use standard ATA drives that you pick up anywhere.

    Installing OSX, well again that varies. While the older 233Mhz iMac are listed as supporting OSX, I personally wouldn't bother because of the over all performace.
    Now the 350Mhz and up iMacs might stand a better chance.
