Fellowship just started.
I wonder if I'm going to like them as much this time as I did before.
youll like them better
youll masterbate furiously
By comparison with other movies that are being released now, amirite?
I can't wait for the Balrog scene.
I still haven't bought Return of the King extended
Fellowship is my official nap movie.
fellowship was arse
return of the king was
It's worth it. Too many fake endings, but still a great film.
I really hope the Hobbit movie gets made.
I like fellowship because the Ring Wraiths are more scary on horses.
Too bad I'm poor
Seriously? It's maybe my favorite of the three. By far the closest to the book.
Yes, it was.
Man when I read those books for the first time as a kid the Nazgûl were like the coolest fucking part. I was all like
You know, if they had just cut out all the Frodo-making-weird-eyes-at-the-camera shots, they would have had enough time to put the Scouring of the Shire back in.
I actually never read them until I was 29.
Then I finally read The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings, and The Silmarillion all in a row, and kicked myself for not having read them sooner.
i watched all three again a few weeks back.
never gets old
Can't beat these though.
Ya hobbits kick ass at throwing rocks, that would have been something to see.
I watched all 3 movies a few weeks back for the first time, huge fucking let down
Over hyped to fuck or maybe you needed to read the books first
I really like the Rankin-Bass Hobbit. It still bothers me that Jackson didn't model his goblins after those. That was some scary shit when I was in 3rd grade.
It's been a long time since I saw the Bakshi LOTR though, and I've never seen the R-B Return of the King. Is it any good?
i don't get why people are mad about tom bombadil being left out.
I got the extended edition set for christmas. Watched all the films in the last week and a half...probably gonna start on the special features discs soon.
It's got this fucking awesome song in it.
I was at first, but he's really a big departure from the story. The only thing you lose from cutting him out is the problem at the barrow-downs, and you have to come up with a new (stupid) way of getting the hobbits their swords.
Having Elrond ride up and go "hay guys, here, have some swords" was pretty gay.
never read the book.....
