Im trading off my 60. But there's so many choices it's tiring.

So far Ive had an offer for an MP5 and factory Colt M16, C&R MP44 & MP40, Group Industries BAR and Sendra M16.

I really want to trade for a Ramo 1919 and C&R M1a1 Thompson, but no offers of that yet.

I may straight sell it and then buy.

Confusing times. I really would like an MP5, but then I dont...

I've heard the same thing. Anything with interior panels held together with binderclips gets a pass from me too.

I already have a violin. Not the world's smallest, but it's a violin nonetheless.

personally I would hold out for the thompson. Even if they lift the NFA it's still going to hold its value because its a thompson. MP5 clones, M16, etc etc will flood the market if the NFA ever goes away.

But yes hold out for a Thompson or whatever, no sense in not getting what you want.

*IF* I was ever in the same situation, I'd probably go for the MP40 and the Thompson.

david_4x4 sounds more and more like the WMD's personal mf101 every time he posts  (although I'm quite sure david_4x4 is legit.)

Thompson/1919 sound like the most fun.

An AR seems to me like it would be incredibly practical due to modularity, but the same could likely be argued towards an MP5 with a registered sear.

MP5 with a registered sear, then maybe a HK21, and a HK51 down the road?

Yah, I wouldn't bitch about that either. Either seems to be a decent bang for the buck in the NFA world, relatively speaking.

That was my thought, exactly. First thing I'd do is buy or build a .22lr SBRd and Canned upper for it. :x:

  25. This is a pretty cool idea.
