I'm too fat...sucky

    I weigh 236 lb.

    Problems:

    1) Beer - I like drinking beer
    2) Food - I like nice tasting food
    3) Exercise - Don't mind some exercise, but I'm not in the habit and if I don't enjoy it....well yeah, don't usually do it.

    The only success I have had was in the past went to gym / personal trainer but I couldn't afford to keep it up.

    Not sure what to do. Stupid short term benefits.

    I am writing an simple access app to log exercise and weight asnd stuff.

    Well obviously I'm taking action now, just wondering about the future and self motivation.

    Maybe posting will give more commitment, who knows.

    Edit: Kinda sucks, as I have been doing alot of fitness type reaserch for some time.

    Also how tall are you? Go to like Fitday.com and use it to keep track of your calories, you can also pay and download the program if you want something on your desktop directly.

    I would eat around 2000cals a day, with very few carbs maybe around 100carbs(Not including fiber) on non lifting days, and a 130carbs on Lifting days. And Fat/Protein intake depends on the person, I personally did better with a higher fat diet like 20% Carbs, 50% Fat, and 30% Protein.

    Stay away from White Breads, juices, coke, beer(also has an effect on test), some of the fruits.

    I had best success with a 1day split when cutting, if I tried to do Chest/Back in one day I would be sore for more than a week at times, if I did a 1day split of (Back/Legs/Chest/Rest/Shoulders+Tri's) I found my numbers went up more and worked better and recovered alot faster.

    Btw I started lifting in Sept, and I have gone from 251 and down to 191 today :hs: But most of it is motivation.

    Oh poor you yeah exercise sucks it's hard omg I EMPATHIZE WITH YOU.

    Wrong forum bud. No one cares about your lack of motivation to workout. You either want to get in shape or you don't, it's as simple as that. If you do, go read through the stickies, and come back.

    Oh I do want to be in shape, no doubt. i just want to do the wrong crap too.

    I'll read the stickes, and pull out my research notes, start another plan and try again

    Don't waste your time. It will propably be the most difficult thing you ever do in your life. I changed my body in almost a years time, and I can't believe how long its taken to get these results. If you are even considering how much you desire fat person pleasure, then don't try until you are so disgusted with yourself that you have to get fit.

    Damn, I don't think I can that way, everytime I get depressed I end up bieng pissed off at myself for being in this situation, cycles suck.

    Think I need to do neural re-wiring

    3) Exercise - Don't mind some exercise, but I'm not in the habit and if I don't enjoy it....well yeah, don't usually do it. get an mp3 player and go for a walk in your neighbourhood for a half hour every day, every little bit helps

    I think you need to look at your goals and lifestyle. You'll never get pumped if you lack strongminded. :noes:

    Just stop being a faggot, and do something for once in your life. I had never committed to anything like this before, and I'm happy with my results this far.
