Some of the eligibility requirements are :hsugh: though..

Since I have to join a club affiliated with them, I'm thinking of joining this one.. since it seems to have it's membership geared just to purchasing from the CMP.

Anyone have any experience with this? It's only like $25, and basically the last requirement I have to meet.. I'm eager to get my hands on an M1. :naughty:

you still have to be in a club. The lisc only counts instead of live fire training. I got a membership in that club. My card came in the mail within a week

    Dooooeeet.

CMP is the best deal going on M1s and ammo for them.

The requirements are so they don't get cleaned out right away by people looking to buy up all their Garands really cheap and then scalp them. (purchasing limit too).
Used to be even more strict, and with a limit of 1 rifle per person.

I've sent off my application today. Hope to hear from them soon.

And as for the other requirements.. I have a C&R, as well as a CCW, so I'm over qualified. :)

Hopefully, by the end of January, I'll have a M1 and a crate of ammo in my possession.
