Serious replies only. I'm going to a recruitment office very soon but I would like to get a feel of what I'm getting into before I walk in there. I'm thinking Marines right now so can anyone give me an idea of what training is like. I heard stories about survival training where they make you hunt for your own food and dumb shit like that. I kind of feel as if this is a myth and Id just get physically fit and get the tactics down before they send me in so hopefully someone can shed some light on that. Also, I'd like a timeframe from when I sign up to when I get deployed. And what kind of commitment are we talking about here time wise? Thanks in advance.
