pick one up. Jag resale value sucks balls. I read that its not worth buying brand new due because you can pick up a used one for a good price. Great bang for the buck. Solid car too. And im a GM fan.

definitely crappy resale value, so if you're into jags -- buy used. But that's due to horrible reliability. Definitely far from a "solid" car.

the aj8 engine is terrific, it really is. jag does not have the issues that they used to have; they actually have one of the best certified programs in the business and are more reliable than many of the brands people think are better.

anything that breaks is going to be big $$$$, just be warned.

Congrats on the purchase! I love Jags, especially the 98+ XJR's. My dad recently purchased a 2000 XJ8 and loves it. He's always been a jag guy as have I. He belongs to Jag-lovers.org and its been very helpful for him. I hope you have many happy tire burning miles ahead;) .

Thanks, im loving it so far...370HP woot!

There is a lot of hating in this part of the forum. Yes i know Jaguar is owned by ford. I dont have a problem with either. All i said was that i am a GM fan. The Jag is one of the few imports i would touch, very solid car.
