I'm taking a week off...

    My body has been hurting as of late, and even though I am still making gains almost weekly, I think it's time to take a week off.. this would be my first official week off in 5 months, not counting one week when I was sick.. that was about a month into my routine.

    Hope I don't lose en enormous amount of strength. :noes:

    im really sick right now, and i dont know what to do. part of me says keep lifting, cant give up. but the other part of my body is really telling me to take a break and let myself heal. what to do..... :( whats the best way to not lose muscle while being sick? im taking my protein just like i always do, but i know im definitely not eating enough because i simply cant keep it down

    3-4 days off to fully recover and the associated loss in workout time is far better than trying to work out half assed (due to your sickness) and being sick for an extra week.

    last week I had a crappy week, and with a trip to penn next weekend, I think I'm going to relax for a week , doing my usual routine but for high reps at a light weight, and maybe some really liek cardio.

    I took a week off two weeks ago because I was feeling tired and fatigued all the time, took a break and went right back into the gym kicking ass and feeling refreshed.

    Everyone needs time off sometimes.
