I carried mine around the house to get the belt and holster broke it.. out sometimes too, but open carry is legal without a CHL here.

I was the same way  I did the same thing Thunderbear did - carried around the house to break in the belt and holster.

Just realized your in Bellevue. Where did you apply? Here in Kent, it only took me 6 days.

You're close, may as well not ruin it now, but break in your gear and get used to it so your not fidgiting with it when your out in public.

it took a while for me to get used to carrying - might as well start at home until your CCW comes.

ohhh. You might be in for a wait then. That's the busiest place to get it. Good luck! Have had mine for over 10 years now. Never leave home without it.

I ordered my holster 4 months before I applied for my permit, and then my permit came in 3 weeks and I was stuck waiting another month for the holster to come. I had to carry in a POS bianchi OWB.

I was lucky, I live in the city they department was in and I did all the things to speed up the procedure I could (did electronic fingerprints instead of the paper copy) took me about a wee from mailing the paper work to receiving the permit in the mail.
