    Backstory:
Started lifting in ~Jan-Feb 07 after ski team ended and I was bored. Started at about 170 pounds at 6'3". Went to the gym 6 days a week until school started a few weeks ago, eating everything in sight. Now I am 205 pounds and just played my first soccer game.

I was fucking beat. in HS I would play a full 90 minute game. Tonight I was wrecked in 15 :hs:

I was planning to continue eating and lifting big through winter to get to about 210-215, but I feel like a lard right now. Breathing heavy and no endurance. There goes my 5:20 mile time.

    so its cut time

good luck. I wish I could find it in me to stop bulking for a little while and do something beneficial to my health. When I see that scale moving down, I just feel worse and worse about things

do you guys transition into a cut or do you just flat out cut calories? I've been bulking for 4 years now with a "cut" inbetween them that would usually last 2 weeks. I want to seriously do it and see where it takes me. I think size wise I'm pretty happy, but the waist is getting a little too big and I'm getting pretty fat around the love handles area.

How would someone transition from a 7000 calorie 4 year bulk to a cut?

It's not so bad. The first couple weeks are kinda tough (especially with lower carb intake) but your body adjusts and eventually you feel much better... Lighter, more energy, less bloat, more regular bowel movements, etc...

If you go into it dreading it you will fail. Focus on the benefits and work hard.

I started because I felt slow playing soccer and I actually noticed a peice a flab at my waistline, so that was the deciding factor

Im already at 800 cals for the day :(

forget cutting. just increase your cardio activity so you have more endurance.
