what happened with ICQ and AIM? did that go out of style?
I found my old-ass ICQ number on a pice of scrap under my desk after a clean-up.
I used it, untill today, when I got weird message, got booted from miranda, and now can't seem to get the right password or email for the SOB. wtfbbq?

we use Microsoft Office Communicator at work. At home I completely stopped using IM.

I would consider text messaging (cell phones) to be 2007.

i guess im still living in the past. everyone i know has AIM, so that's how I communicate with people. I've liked GoogleTalk as well... Also, unlimited text messaging FTW!

ICQ/AIM is defo packed with what appears to be pervs, hence I only login when I need to talk to a friend on there. Haven't been arsed to change or figure out visibility settings.

I connect to MSN and AIM through Jabber, but almost everyone I actually talk to is on Google Talk (which is Jabber).

MSN/AIM seems to cover most of it these days...AIM seems to be more of the college and younger generation, MSN is what people seem to use when they graduate :p

I use Yahoo or AIM to deal with clients. Phone calls are worthless.. you always end up emailing each other something, so why not paste it to begin with?

i agree to an extent... but sometimes it takes too long to tell something to someone, so you might as well call them and tell them. it would take twice the time to tell someone something on the phone, to type everything, then the time for them to read what you wrote

For internal, I guess you could consider Jabber.
