But I might end up saving about $200 and get this instead.

    NEC/MITSUBISHI MultiSync FE991SB-BK 19-inch CRT Monitor
CRT Type: SuperBright Diamondtron - aperture grille
    Max Resolution: 1792 x 1344 / 68 Hz
    $230 shipped

I can't stand anything not having 1600x1200 resolution on my main monitor. I'm making the right choice, right? :hs:

    doh!

I had to pick up a card that did dual DVI..

Just wait til dell does the 20% off small business..

I got the two monitors and the card for 1150 total..

Not bad.. considering I get more resolution than the 20" more desktop space in general (viewable area) and the ability to maximize two different programs on different screens.. well worth the purchase.

    It's like comparing a Sony's E series to Sony's F series monitor. E series = shit.

That was one of the CRTs I was considering when I was looking to get a new monitor, however, when I finally got to see it I wasn't very impressed by it. I'd definately recommend going to some local stores (Best Buy, MicroCenter, CompUSA [these guys were GREAT when it came to checking out monitors], etc) and seeing which one looks best to you. Most 19" monitors do 1600x1200, but make sure you get a good refresh rate too (at least 75Hz), and if it goes higher than that, look into whether it's a true resolution or interlaced.

Yeah.. tech support is ridiculous.. they are seriously going to lose customer base with that one..

I only got the LCD's from there.. the card was from Newegg..

I figured.. if the LCD's break.. they break.. they really can't argue with it.. ya know?? not like there's an OS problem or what have you..

Question about my F400. It looks okay on DOS, but blurry as shit on windows. Is it worth it to send to Sony to fix? One way shipping is like $80. :sad2:
