i would definately go with relaxed boot for a looser fit with the cool flare the boot cut gives

    edit: stay away from tapers

also a quesiton on jean fitting... are you supposed to get a size that is tight on your ass/waist, one that is loose but doesnt require a belt, or one that is just loose enough to require a belt?

Old Navy's Jeans are decently priced and very well made. I have only Express and Old Navy myself.

i work at the gap. i would say the relaxed bootfit is your best bet. the flare on it is not drastic. it's enough to fit over your shoes/sneakers....it's nice and casual. if that doesn't work and you still need more room for your thighs move to the loose fit.

I'm wearing the loose fit right now and they're great, but I do have a pair of the low rise boot fit and they do ride my crotch and its a bitch getting things in/out of the front pockets... but they show off my ass so it's a compromise :naughty:

my personal fave is the low-rise boot-cut...not much flare, slim fit....comfy as hell
