anybody ever shot anything like this?

Seems like it'd be fun to shoot and it would probably be a great crime deterrent if i just left it sitting in my living room. anybody who breaks in would most likely flee immediately upon seeing something like this, LOL. Its really not very expensive either, my HK USP tactical cost more than that gatling gun does. Fires 4 rounds(.22lr so its cheap to shoot) per turn of the crank and its still classified as a semi automatic so i would get rapid fire without the ATF paperwork and $200 tax. My next firearm will probably be this or an MP5/.40, the gat might be a little impractical and hard to transport but it still might be pretty nice to own.

What do you think, should i buy one of these?

I think it'd be fun for about a month then it'd just get boring and lame. You'd probably impress a bunch of 10 year olds and gun n00bertons, but other than that, not so much.

hmm, you might be right. i'll have to think about it for a while and decide if it'd really be worth it.

    No. Okay? No.
That would be pretty cool.

But really, I don't see any redeeming value in this thing other than just a cool looking toy. The novelty of sitting down and turning the crank whilst unleashing a fury of .22lr bullets would wear off quickly. Looks like it'd be a bitch to clean too.

Although you could always take off the crank and hook up a cordless drill to the axle (if you want to go to jail, that is :noes:)

the one that uses AKs is sold out. i'd prefer the .22 one anyway since it'd be cheaper.

They pop up on the gun auction sites occasionally... Theres another gun that looks like the UMP that pops up once in awhile too thats alot cheaper, name escapes me I think its italian made, I need research that one a bit more cause I've seen them for like $1200.. I think there available in 9mm and .40 looks alot like the UMP.. if its reliable I may pick one up when i got the spare cash, rather have that then some bobcat or hesse mp knockoff (as long as its reliable)

If he wants a real one he's going to pay a couple grand, even the crappy bobcat weapons and hesse or vulcan whatever they call themselves now knockoffs go for $12-1500
