I had an account with them for maybe 2 years now im guessing.

About a few months ago i had enough so i sent them an email telling them to cancel my account at the end of my cycle.

Now... months later i recieve this email IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT (good thing i was up, so i could quickly backup my shit.) A few minutes later my account is closed/ftp locked out.

What kind of shit is that? Randomly delete someones account months after they request it. It wasnt even the end of my billing cycle that i know of.

Like i LOVE how they can email me monthly of my vulnerable scripts they detect on my server... yet they cant have there fucking billing department send me an email in the middle of the day so i can backup everything.

Now i have to figure out what mysql tables i had in there too cause i didnt have a chance to back that shit up

I haven't worked there for a long time. lol

I might know some people, though.

Tell them douchenuggets to check the backup server. Which won't have shit because they delete the shit on there almost as fast as they delete the shit they need to backup. lol

I did some work for a client once who's account was suspended and locked out on their original host and they were trying to move to the new host. I called original host and explained the situation, they were pretty cool about it and sent me mysql dumps of all the databases. Have you tried asking them?

    Fuckin 10 months ago

and its kind of hard to keep track of which shared hosting you cancel when you have a bunch. I had to go back and look through my emails to try to figure out.

10 months? As to most ISPs, I imagine shared accounts aren't much of a priority as opposed to their other services. :hs:
