just sold my 8525 for $200. bring it on!
I'll call you when they're out.
im back to using my nokia 6230
at least i can use iSync again
what's the difference with the new ones
no information has been released for the new one other than its going to be 3g. the rest is speculation
I'm ready too.
I'm wonder how much I'll get for my edge iPhone.
I am also ready.
Technically speaking, that's speculation too. 3G carrier deals have been for other markets, not the US.
I'm going to laugh my ass off if they release another 2.5G handset in the US and piss everyone off. (not hating on the iPhone at all, I'll just think that's funny)
i would hope this would be an indicator that its going to be 3g
That would be hilarious. It's always funny to see how let down people get when they buy into all the rumors and the product doesn't live up to them. They're called "rumors" for a reason.
i dont even live in a 3g area so its no real deal breaker for me. i wouldnt mind getting the current version but since a new one is coming out sooner than later Im waiting.
That's all I'm saying. I reasonably convinced that the rumors are accurate, but being rumors there's still room for them to screw with market expectations again.
And if they do, I'll happily giggle to myself as I play with my first gen iPhone.
what if iphone 2.0 becomes duke nukem forever
or worse, daikatana
Differentiation should be made between iPhone 2.0 and the next version of the iPhone hardware. What Apple is calling iPhone 2.0 is just the next firmware version for the current iPhone and should be out next month.
i been ready for the new iphone to be released
Wirelessly posted via wap.offtopic.com (fucking iphone son: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU like Mac OS X; en) AppleWebKit/420.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.0 Mobile/4A102 Safari/419.3)
I'm ready for the new iPhone.
I've been waiting a year for this shit. I held off on the iphone until 3g was released. Never thought I would have to wait this long tho.
if I plan to use it with t-mobile should I even bother?
id get the current gen for that unless you want to wait for the new one to be hacked so it can be unlocked
definitely wait until someone identifies the baseband chip in the new iPhone before purchasing. T-Mobile's 3G licenses are in the Advanced Wireless Services (AWS) spectrum at 1700MHz, and presently there are basically no other carriers anywhere in the world operating UMTS services on that band. AT&T's HSDPA/UMTS is at 1900MHz, and most of Europe is on 2100MHz. If Apple's UMTS radio in the new iPhone doesn't support 1700MHz 3G, you'll be fucked until they upgrade the hardware again.
Unfortunately it won't be an issue of unlocking the phone, if the hardware itself can't communicate on those frequencies.
Apple.com currently shows the iPhone as unavailable for purchase.
