But I think graphic novels are pretty sweet and generally enjoy them when there's something to them. Manga is a step up from American super hero comics to me, but still lackluster save for the really good ones.

This in mind, can anybody recommend me some stuff? :dunno: I know most people here seem to be into the standard super hero whatnot, but I'm sure there must be some others :hs:

Two of the most popular ones were Preacher and Sandman

See i used to love manga and anime, used to think they were really really deep.
Then i realised that too many of them were filled to the brim with horrible cliche's and i just couldnt watch/read anymore.
Japanese material is incapable of being straight out blunt and honest, they have to dance for months around one idea and never deal with it because noone comes out and says whats really on their mind.

There are a handful of anime/mangas that i will hold on too and cherish forever but the medium is mostly dead to me.

Oh, and as for graphic Novels: The Sandman, The Preacher, Hellboy (and B.R.P.D) 100 bullets

Y- Last Man, Preacher, Bone, Ex Machina...I'm not into super hero comics either and have enjoyed all of these a whole hell of a lot.

I'm a big fan of Runaways, and wouldn't necessarily call it a super hero comic, although it does contain them and there are a lot of cameos.

Kick ass, this is a lot of stuff. So can I find any of this on Warskrull? And can just anybody gain access? I'm in the dark here as the only thread on it is people requesting acccess.

Are we talking "OT 'Initiation' style of waiting for permission" or "e-fraternity, take a pic of your papercut nuts soaking in a tub of rubbing alcohol... with a penny" initiation? :noes:

My two favorites were already mentioned, Y The Last Man and 100 Bullets.
Watchmen, while dealing with super heroes if fantastic. Sandman and Preacher are always good.
And if you have not read the V for Vendetta graphic novel, you should check it out.

Proceed to the topic at hand.
