I just got approved and wouldn't you know it? Just when I'm steaming mad about something. Partially at myself. I never really took the time to think over the "Dont ask, Dont tell" ARmy thing - and I guess I kind took it for granted that it helped gay soldiers. I was so wrong. It's everything just the opposite.

Anyway, I just finished this article and it has made me think more about the topic than I ever did before. And it' made me angry.

The rest of the article is here.

:nono: That is something I have always had issues with. I didn't know about it until somewhat recently and I was just like - are you kidding me? What the hell does it matter if your straight, gay, lesbian - a whore in real life - who the hell cares??!! Certainly doesn't matter what color you are, or from what background you come from. They all fight and defend the same and I think it's a horrible thing.

I find it simple, too. I don't think anybody should join the military.

    actually more specifically -

    tell means:

performing any act that one might assume homosexual - shaking hands might raise suspicion enough for someone who might not like you. investigations happen, and then you're discharged. :wavey: thanks for nothing homogay.
