Ouch, I do them with a barbell in a rack for that reason.
no pain no gain
but not when you injured yourself
i hope nothing's broken....did you stop lifting for the day?
How do you drop it on your toe?
Couldn't finish the last rep and i tried to put it down.
don't drop weights, then...
i just let those fuckers drop and smash the fucking floor. weights destroying floor>injuring myself. iblegslongsoistickthemutanyways
Military press stuff hurts my rotator cuffs
Ever since I started doing them regularly (even with warming up my shoulder beforehand/stretching/etc) I can notice little crack and pops when i swing my arms around.
which is most likely to be ligaments and tendons sliding over bone I would have thought. I get a few noises myself.
"Pain is just weakness leaving your body!"
Tell that to someone who had a career ended from an ACL tear
Drop/bring them down onto your knees first.
How far did u drop it a 45lb plate fell about 4 feet off a rack onto my foot/toes...broke my foot in 2 places and 4 toes...worst pain ive ever had
I'm always a little scared when I do incline bench with 85's...what if my arms just go out and I drop em on my face?

So is this in the military forum because the title has "military" in it, even though it's about weightlifting?
