Im mactarded (quick question)

    So i got my 12"pb and it rocks:bowdown: but i like firefox alot. So i downloaded it. Problem is it is a .dmg file. Now i want to just have firefox in my applications and not have to "boot up" the .dmg everytime

    how do i do this?

    After you install it, a new window will open up with the FF icon in it again. Drag the icon to your applications folder. You can also use this icon in your dock.

    load the .dmg, then drag the firefox icon to where you want it

    double-click on the DMG file.

    once the window opens for the DMG, drag the Firefox icon to your Applications folder.

    once Firefox is in the Applications folder, drag and drop the Firefox icon over your dock to add it to your dock.

    this goes for most .dmg files. some will mount on your desktop where you'll have to drag and drop the application to your applications folder. Others will just place the application on the desktop.
