GUN I'm hooked..

    Second time going shooting... a guy there had an AR-15 he let us try out.

    Who the hell taught you how to stand and shoot? I remember doing that once till I got a royal reaming on how its done.

    I really don't know what kind of gun it is, the guy talked a lot about it, but I was too excited when he said I could shoot it. I really like the sight on it, it had this red crosshair rectile thingy.
    I do notice I am leaning back a lot, guess the next time I go I can fix that.

    I also shot a .22 Ruger, .45 1911 (had a scope on it...), 9mm Baretta, and a 9mm compact Glock.
    All fun except a stapler had more recoil then the Ruger.

    PS. Where would I get started on purchasing one of these... I'm in Oklahoma.

    seriously though, walk into a local gun shop and see what they have for sale.

    that sight is called an Eotech, and they are my personal favorite for red-dots because of the floating reticle.

    also, if you're on a budget, the Bushnell Holosight is pretty much the same as the Eotech, just without the metal protective shroud, for about $100 less.

    Hey welcome. My buddies got me hooked, im on 4 rifles, 1 shotgun, and maybe one more rifle soon. All in about 2 years. It gets very addicting, but its the best hobby ive had.
