ive been reading all this stuff about the "stop the whine day" and

as irritating as the heat problems are, and other little problems...

this is my first mac, i'm no apple apologist
its the most fun ive ever had with a computer

and despite the clear fact that apple makes douchebags out of its early adopters then leaves them in the cold

    still cool.

they won't leave you in the cold. if you've got a heat issue, take it into a store and get it evaluated.

well i've been following the issues with the heat....people are getting sending their stuff in for warranty repair, but they're saying that things are running just as hot when they get sent back.

also annoying is that...the new 17'' mbp have some software where you can right-click if you do it with two fingers. why can't the 15'' have taht too?

also annoying - just a few months after the first mbp's shipped, it's now 2.0ghz standard...when i bought mine it was an upgrade...not last year, but like last month!

almost positive the software right-click will be patched for 15" MBPs in 10.4.7, if not sooner.

    if that's the truf

then i'm happy. not having a quick right-click is fine in regular osx apps....but firefox, excel, word - its a pain.
