    1st. I understand there are foods you cannot eat. But at the end of the book he has a 14 day plan with exact meals. Are you supposed to follow the meals he has set out, or just not eat the foods he has eliminated.

    2nd. Has anyone done this diet on here, if so how was your experience?

    if you really wanna drop, start with atkins and go south beach once you can't take that anymore.

    they're pretty much both the same but atkins is tougher

    My goal isnt that much weight that quickly. I want to lose say 45 pounds by june 30th. But more importantly I want to lower my cholesterol , and blood sugars.

    Just fucking eat less (calories) than you burn, profit. Don't be going on some dumb atkins/meal plan. If you're actually serious make a diet that works for you.

    Atkins works not because its a good diet, because people who are on it burn so much energy because they can't shut the fuck up about being on Atkins.

    That's why I am not going on atkins. I tried eating less, eating more healthy shit does not work. I dunno why. I bike like 24 miles a day, walk my dog for an hour daily. And I'm still a heffer.

    Then you have to take drastic measures, for me it's not a big deal, but people seem to fucking cry about it -- time to start counting your calories. Go to Fitday.com and start doing it. Everyday, for everything that goes in your mouth, count it.

    YOU. MUST. START. COUNTING. CALORIES.

    Once you start counting, there will be no way you will NOT lose weight. I was in your boat too. I ate less, and eating more healthy shit -- but it wasn't until I started counting calories I dropped the weight. All 135lbs of it.

    Go for it. It's all up to how bad you want it. It's either you're going to stay a fat fuck or make a stand against it and work your blood, heart and sweat for it. Up to you.

    Sedentary people don't need that many carbs. Bottom fuckin line. If you are sedentary, there is no need for you to consume 200-300g of carbs. The diet in the sticky is a starting point for active weight training individuals.

    This is why you will find hands down that diets like atkins, psmf, ckd, etc, etc, etc work much better for the general public (i.e. sedentary) people.



    Just ask how many people do you know that can drop to 4%bf on 4000 cals a day rotatating between 600g and 200g of carbs. Bodybuilders carrying asstons of muscle and doing shitlots of work can, other people can't. Bottom fuckin line.

    The fact alone that I ran a diet for losing weight with 200-270g of carbs. It's not the fact there are lower carbs, it's the fact the lower carbs generally mean lower calories, in which results in weight lost. You can go on a diet with strictly carbs, and still lose weight -- as evident by many people on BB.com :hsugh:.

    It's because general public overload on carbs like retard and don't count calories, it's just easier to cut them out and in the end you will be consuming less calories.

    My job requires me to be at a desk for 12 hours a day, 5 days a week -- in that time I lost over 135lbs and that was with a balanced 40/40/20 diet. Hell, I even ate carbs at night :hsugh: zomg I'm gonna go fat :rofl:

    Educate yourself and go over to Bodybuilding.com nutrition forum.

    CARBS DO NOT MAKE PEOPLE FAT. EXCESS CALORIES DO. THE REASON ATKINS AND THOSE GAY DIETS WORK IS BECAUSE IT'S JUST EASIER FOR THE FAT ASS GENERAL PUBLIC TO CUT CARBS OUT. AND IF YOU ACTUALLY READ, THEY BRING CARBS BACK DURING THE END OF THE DIET AND IT'S USUALLY AROUND 200+CARBS.

    So all in all, cool broscience, bro. :hsugh:

    Point is, overall calories is all that matters, if you try to dispute that, you're just a retard :hsugh:

    Ok here is where u are wrong tho. Overall calories is what matters. BUT if you let your blood sugar fluxuate too much IE eating carbs then you have a very high chance of cheating.

    I would suggest adopting a low carb diet (50 g>). If you are interested in lowering or improving your lipid profile it is one of the ways to do it. Carbs are the primary cause of high cholesterol and cutting them out significantly will dramatically improve your lipids without statins.

    for a a lot of people carbs will make you fat. most people in n. america are carb intolerant and dont handle carbs very well. that being said eating a bunch of shit food will make anybody fat
