    85 1.4 or the 10.5 fisheye next, trying to decide now. Probably in the next few months.

    I'm guessing you'll get a lot more use out of the 85 1.4 - especially with kami

    I'll probably upgrade sooner or later. But I want to hold off for the AF-S version I think.

    Plus I got such a great deal on this 85 I doubt I'll lose much (if any) even if I sell it a year from now :cool:

    That and the lens is amazing wide open! The 50 sucks between 1.4 and 1.8... I usually keep that thing at f2 and lower.

    85mm f/1.4 fits best on a fullsized body, not a camera with an add on grip

    I don't pay attention TOO much, but I'd say under $900 is a good deal, but expect to pay 900-1000.

    just budget $1k for a new 85mm f/1.4

    used around $800-900


    the mf(101) 85mm f/1.4 is better than the af one if you are doing lots of manual focus or studio work

    the 85mm f/2.8 PC is also a ridiculous lens
