Love my XD-40 (Tru-glo tritium/fiber sights + Lasermax) but the new XD-M has been on my mind for a while. 19+1 of +P as a glove box gun?

Should I do it? I really like the looks of the OD green.

    What are your deciding factors?

If you haven't tried CZ 75 sp01, try that before you go for XDM. They are about the same price.

I've never held one, but the grip does not exactly look enticing.

Great gun. I love shooting mine. Its very accurate and very reliable. After getting my M I've sold ALL of my Glocks and accessories and am now Glock free. The XDm just blew it away, for me, in every way.

    170mm I assume?

I actually thought the XDm's were pretty neat when I played with one. Excellent grip feel. Wouldn't mind seeing Springfield replace the older XP line with all XDm variants in the future.

The OP should make his into this:

    I still think it's hot-shit.
