    i don't know why everyone wants the latests and the greatest macs...
    it's not a pc, you don't need to update it every year... these things last forever...

    got my 2.0ghz 2gb 15inch for $1000 a year and a half ago, brand new, what, me worry? nah chance

    the PB's are still awesome machines, I'd take them over a lot of the PC's out there these days...

    For that matter, I still often think of picking up a 12" iBook G4 for tossing in my bag when I'm running around.

    I am happy with my 2.2GHz MBP (Mid 2007) 15" and will likely wait till they do a refresh of the new design.

    Well i sold my C2D(first one that came out) and now ive been waiting, im not to sure for what but with the prospect of a design change it whats holding me back from pulling the trigger. I wanted something significant this last update and it wasnt there for me. So this one will be it. It sucks not having a MBP though.

    Bought my iBook G4 in 2004, use it daily for work with NO problems.

    Bought my intel iMac 2GHz Core Duo the day after they were released and haven't had a single issue, and I use it everyday.

    I have friends on their 3rd windoze PC in the same amount of time.
