My sis is in Thailand right now and the tailor has my measurements from when I went 3 years ago. I told her I wanted some new dress shirts made so she sent me a bunch of pictures with the fabrics/patterns they have available.

I have an idea of which ones I want, but just for fun..which ones do you like?

The blue with the white stripes I like. As long as they are vertical. I have a thing for blue.

I like both of these, but I'd have to wear them with a coat. The vertical stitching in the lighter shirt is sweet.

These are interesting, not really my taste though:

    Is this textured?

i have to wear a full suit to work, so they will nary be seen without a jacket anyways

I thought it would be awesome to get a pair of pants or something in that parttern

As for the texture..my sister just took pics for me from Thailand..abut looks as though it's a herringbone type fabric

    They'd be funky :bigthumb:

What shirt pattern are you using? Do you have an image that resembles the cut?

The more I look, the more I like the alternate stitching in that first pic I quoted. It would look alot better in some different colors though.

there's no accounting for taste and they're a custom tailor, so I imagine they have to have a little of everything

i've never had custom tailored suits/shirts done before and I wonder if thailand/asian tailors are just as good as their european counter-parts.

might be worth the trip just to get a huge collection of shirts/suits for 1 or 2k
