    with 1+1.

Just found out tonight that they don't allow php scripts to send mail to more than 1 address with your domain name after it. (dunno whats that's called...)

    Giant fucking fail.

I upgrade to get more features, and then this shit happens. Fuck em. I'm switching to ASO.

At least on 2 shared ASO accounts I had PHP mail() was completely disabled and they instructed to use swiftmailer or a similar package.

there are better cheap hosts out there, used them and learned the hard way and found a lot better shared hosts out there than 1 and 1

Nice. Can it handle around 7-10 mailing lists sending around a 1000 emails each? I've got to send out a "news letter" to people using php, and I'm sure as shit not typing them all in the script itself.

it'll probably work but violate TOS. you need a dedicated server/vps

How often do you need to send mails? Most shared hosts will restrict how many emails you can send per hour. Usually anywhere from 100-500 per hour.

God this is getting worse and worse... I'd only be sending out one email maybe once a month. But if only 1-500 go out at a time, I'm sure 1+1 isn't so advanced that after those first 500 or so and there were still recipients, it would mail to the next 500 in the next hour until there were no recips left.

    Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu.........
