I'm fucking bitter

    My knee surgery is continuing to get pushed back, and it looks like I won't be able to squat or deadlift until the first of the year(ish). This sucks so fucking bad. I'm finally able to get around campus with my knee brace and think I will try benching tonight...

    To all those with healthy joints: PRESERVE THEM. Don't wait for it to be an issue! You don't want to be in my shoes I PROMISE.

    hah. thanks.

    i'll be training upper body as much as i can, but having a knee thats completely fucked makes it difficult.

    yeah i feel you on that, i fucked up my knee 2-3 months ago and the doc said it was just jumpers knee tendonitis, i doubt it is though since i still have alot of pain when i bend it too far so i'm laying off of working legs until it's better. Beach muscles ftw :sad2:

    really? i like them until I get to the 95% range and then my chest feels like its gonna rip off

    i prefer dumbbells when doing them, but they still aggitate my elbows

    so i don't do them :rly:

    I look like a beached whale trying to get into position for db floor press, so I steer clear of them

    i learned that you have to sit up, put them on your thighs, then sort of curl up and roll onto your back, then lay straight and it's a lot easier

    And when you are finally cleared to squat and dead, you'll be incredibly weak and most likely in pain. Frustration is a bitch. Good luck.

    Kneecap comes out of place because the tendon beneath my knee is in the wrong spot, and my kneecap doesn't rest in the groove. It's happened four times now over the span of about 6 years. I've seen two doctors and both said that after the second time I would need surgery. Well now the whole it might fix itself thing is completey out the window and I'm basically just waiting out the surgery and rehab. Not going to give up squatting, or deadlifting, or anything else. Infact, I'm determined to become 10x better than I ever thought I could be.

    That may help alot of people, but not me bro :hs: It's just a bum knee that I'm having to fix the manual way.

    Thanks for the reminder. I know I'll be weaker than abomb420 when I finally get back to squatting, but I've learned how to eat like a champ and I'm doing nothing but finding ways to make money so I afford all the toys that will make rehabbing back up and then getting stronger than a fucking silverback easier.

    Man, you're going to squat bigger than me once I am able to get back into the gym. Get your jokes ready, because you'll only have a couple weeks to use them :h5:
