i'm feel like i'm the shit

    today i had a awsome work out.

    first i started with clean and press. my first time ever doing them. i worked up to 30kg+45lb bar. good shit.

    after that i did overhead squats, first time doing these too. first i started with just the bar, but my last set ended up being 135x6!!!

    and then at the end of my work out i did good mornings, and i acually liked them, i felt my back get engorged.

    i love me because while i was doing cleans there was a kid behind me doing curls in the squat rack giving me the :ugh: look. even more people were doing that when i was doing overhead squats (today would normaly be my light squat day, but decided to do them overhead).

    i have a feeling i'm gonna break 1000 on my big three soon.

    and after my work out today, i took a good look at my back by holding a small mirror in my hand with my back facing a big mirror. all i can say is that it feels good to freak my self out because my back look humugous to me. i havn't taken a good look at my back in a while, these deads are working great.

    i love it when the regulars at the gym say to me:
    "damn working legs agian?"
    "are you a power lifter? why are you doing dead lifts?"

    ok F&N deflate my big headed-ness, i need to be brought back down and put into my place, i got a lot of improvment to make still.

    and yes... you should be proud with a 135lb overhead squat. they are a true test of strength

    I'm confused about the clean and press. Are you guys that bad at cleaning or that good at pressing that you can press what you clean? Or do you just do weights well below your best clean?

    sorry it was 2am when i did the post. training is serious business, it has turned me into a bitter, hard, cute baby hating, puppy kicking man.


    well if you read the post, it was my first time cleaning. so i guess i am "that bad at cleaning." usually a clean+press is done with less weight than just a clean.

    get back to me in a couple of months...
