Im fat and need help

    This thread : http://forums.offtopic.com/showthread.php?t=1848475 prompted to my attention that I can do something about this.

    Lets see here, im 16 5'7 200. I usually just eat whatever and participated in P.E. and nothing really changed. Im at about 30% bodyfat and would like a goal of around ~20% (possible by the end of summer?) and about 15% by the end of the year. I read the stickies and really dont know how to accomplish this.

    Would lifting help? Should I lose the weight first then start lifting? I am going to try football this year and camp starts next week so what kind of foods should I eat? Thanks

    No its ok, so I should start lifting? Anything I should know about lifting since I have never done it before

    eat 2000 calories (http://www.fitday.com to count them) , do christophers base routine as outlined in the archives.

    if you don't lose weight within 3 weeks, decrease calories
    if you lose a drastic amount in 3 weeks, increase calories a bit.
