went over to a friends house today to take some shots of their newborn. still lots to learn, but I think these turned out pretty well.

    watch out, tits. :fawk:

    the setup (at least for a few of the shots ... 285 @ 1/4 into reflective, 580exII @ 1/2 into shoot-through)

Not bad - check out this chick's site for ideas.

Also here is an editing style I've always liked for babies.

that looks cool. i really don't have a clue what i'm doing at the moment :o

she only charges $250 for one session, plus $200 in prints? That's pretty damn cheap, isn't it?

and she does this full time? How does she make a living?

i thought about doing a 2hr "session" for $500, shoot a couple hundred pics, edit them, and give them a disc of ~100 shots. i'd offer the incredibly-overpriced prints (like everyone else does) too, i suppose.

that would be a nice supplement for a once-a-week thing, i think.

They're more fun to shoot when they can crawl and sit up by themselves.

Oh sorry, Looks good to me. No bad shadows or half dark faces or anything.
I've found that a couple umbrellas and a camera set to expose properly really make taking portraits very easy :hsd:

Guess thats why they let teen girls do the shoots at Babies R Us in my town

What program is she using for the pics? I like the roll over swap into the main frame.
