how many of you buy the books or just read scans. i only read scans of comics icant afford to buy YET. i keep up with current books i like i just feel that its the creators best interest to let me read the back issues so im more interested in the current and i will but the back as i get the money.

    B. Live in a relatively medium city with just two comic book shops, one not even worthy of the name since it just sells shit, and the remaining one i hate, mainly because of the owner and they're always late with the newest stuff.

I occasionally fork out money for some trades on amazon/ebay though. In all honesty, i only started doing that a few months ago after i sent sirc his stuff during otcc secret santa :o

troof, but marvel has been pretty gay with their subs. Also, I got the two worst series atp, since neither are coming out any time soon (Hulk, Runaways) but they would always show up late, sometimes weeks late, and always bent out of shape. 1 time I got an issue 2 days before release.

For free? I just can't afford to buy much of anything. My disposable income is practically nonexistent and I almost live like a monk. Free entertainment is all I can afford.

I bought comics for 20 years, now I just do scans. I feel completely justified since I dropped untold thousands into their pockets.

idk i just like collecting comics. i always wanted and now i can afford to. i dont think its wrong to read scans as long as you support comics in some way shape or form as much as you can.

I buy comics at my LBC, but the dude that works there is a huge prick, so most of the time I get them at www.midtowncomics.com . And then I buy prints and such at comicons.

I read scans on alot of random books I just want to check out and then I will usually buy the trades of the ones I really like later on and re read them then. Like 100 bullets, Y the Last Man and Walking Dead for example.

to elaborate on my answer in the poll, I buy about 40 dollars a month in comics.

I also download a lot of random crap as well. I think the three choices presented do not accurately reflect the choices given to the average comic book reader that frequent this sub forum. I think we all to do both, we play both sides of the street. butt sex and all.

    :werd:

I used to read comics when i was younger, but it never took off until about 4/5 years ago when a friend told me to read up on some old stuff. Then he told me it was all available on the internet, and so i started. Prior to that i'd just bought one or two TPB's of X-Men.
